DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Gov4Nano Coordination Team it is our pleasure to invite our consoritum partners to the Gov4Nano 8th Consortium Meeting\, The eight and last Consortium Meeting will take place from 14 – 15 February 2023 in Rome\, Italy. \nWe are near the end of more than 4 years’ Gov4Nano journey where we worked together on the projects overarching objective: ‘to develop a proof of concept of an efficient and effective risk governance process for nanotechnologies\, dealing with the legacy as well as future technological developments’ . \nA lot of work has been done in these past four years\, and we want to celebrate the end of the project with the Gov4Nano consortium partners! During this last Consortium Meeting\, we will reflect on the impressive amount of work done and discuss how this relates to currently running as well as future projects and initiatives. \nWe are very happy that partner ISS together with partner Airi is willing to host/co-organise this meeting. \nThe G4N Management Team looks forward to meet you all in Rome!

Based on this\, we will start preparing for a physical meeting. \nWe need to stay flexible: Despite our very optimistic plans\, we do want to emphasise that changes in the international Covid-19 situation may force us to adjust these plans for the G4N 7th Consortium Meeting.

DESCRIPTION:On behalf of the Gov4Nano Coordination Team and our host and partner TEMAS AG\, it is our pleasure to announce and invite you to the third Gov4Nano Consortium Meeting\, taking place from the 3 till the 5 March 2020\, in Opfikon (near Zurich)\, Switzerland. \nFollowing the progress we made in the previous consortium meetings\, we will draw up a programme that will enable you to actively participate in the further development of a nano-risk governance framework that really meets the needs of nanotechnology. We will be discussing the progress and the next steps to be taken regarding the different work packages as well as our five main topics (development of the Nano Risk Governance council\, Nano Risk Governance Framework\, FAIR data\, Stakeholder engagement\, Portal and tools). The Gov4Nano journey is getting well on track\, and in the following period we need all of your brainpower to really get up to speed towards our destination. Therefore\, we would like to encourage you to bring your expertise and ideas to the table during the upcoming consortium meeting. \nAlso\, during the 3rd Consortium Meeting we will be convening for our formal General Assembly meeting\, for which\, as you know\, attendance of all partners is required. \nA global outline for the three day-meeting: \n3rd of March ≈ 10 am – 5 pm for partners: Parallel sessions\, technical meetings for the work packages\n4th of March ≈ 9 am – 5 pm for partners: Plenary/parallel sessions on the main topics; including status of the project and a General Assembly\n5th of March ≈ 9 am – 1 pm for partners: Plenary/ parallel sessions\n5th of March ≈ 1 pm – 5 pm for Management Committee: If feasible a meeting with the Advisory Board and an MC Meeting \nMEETING VENUE 3-4-5 March 2020\nQUO AG\, Alpenstrasse 3\, 8152 Opfikon\, Glattpark (near Zurich)\, Switzerland \nHOTEL ACCOMMODATION\nYou are kindly requested to make your own reservations; there are several hotels near the meeting venue. DESCRIPTION:From 4th to 6th March of 2019\, the new H2020 project Gov4Nano was officially kicked-off in The Hague\, Netherlands. The project coordinators from the National Institute for Public Health and the Environment of the Netherlands (RIVM) organised an interactive kick-off meeting\, including open space discussions on all work packages\, to exchange ideas and give the project a flying start. \nThe Gov4Nano project will develop the first implementation of a future-proof operational Nano Risk Governance Model (NRGM) that addresses the needs of the transdisciplinary field and innovative (and key enabling) character of nanotechnology. \n \nCopyright: RIVM & BNN
