Global Summit on Regulatory Science on Nanotechnology and Nanoplastics

The European Commission's Joint Research Centre (JRC) will co-organise with the Global Coalition for Regulatory Science Research (GCRSR) the Global Summit on Regulatory Science 2019 (GSRS19), 24-26 September 2019. The GSRS19 will bring together scientists from government, industry, and academic-research communities from around the world for addressing regulatory-research questions concerning Nanotechnology and Nanoplastics. NanoSafety Cluster Week – Building confidence in risk assessment and governance of nanomaterial innovation

The 4-day event kicks off with the caLIBRAte final workshop focussed on current knowledge and future outlook on stakeholder risk perception and information needs and nanosafety data availability. caLIBRAte also presents nano-specific human and environmental risk assessment and management tools tested in the project, plus the decision support tool developed, the NanoRisk Governance Portal.
